The aim of counselling is to help people effectively cope with life issues such as Developmental Life, Relationship Breakdown, Career Changes, Redundancy, Loss, Illnesses, Depression and Stress.
 
It can help to have someone to talk to who isn't emotionally involved at times likes these. Therapy can help as it offers a chance to explore how you feel in a safe, non-judgmental environment. It can offer you a space to help you make your own decisions to gain back your confidence and power.
 
As you attend your first counselling session, you may have lots of questions. A first an initial assessment will be carried out. The assessment session gives both you and the therapist an opportunity to decide if you could work together.
